About
Hacienda La Esmeralda, located in Boquete, Panama, is the one of the famous coffee farms of the world. Since winning the Best of Panama in 2004 with its Gesha and breaking auction records, the estate has not only brought Gesha to the world stage but has also flourished under the stewardship of the Peterson family.
Over the years, Hacienda La Esmeralda has received countless acco- lades. Most recently, at the 2025 Best of Panama (BOP), the estate set new world records, winning 1st place in the Gesha Washed, Gesha Natural, and Varietals categories.
