After saving money for years as an accountant and eventually buying his own land, Getachew Zeleke purchased farm land in Shakiso, which is known for its very high quality potential for specialty coffee. Since first planting coffee trees in 2009, his operation has steadily grown to include its own washing station and dry mill! We're incredibly delighted to be able to feature another single-estate Ethiopian coffee on our menu. The cup profile presents an extremely sweet and clean berry tone, similar to Acai, with very prominent vanilla florals and a lovely white tea note on the linger. As it cools, all of the flavors combine to resemble a decadent and rich vanilla ice cream with fresh berry compote.
