New harvest from Arsosala is a washing station founded in 2015 that currently serves about 1,200 smallholder producers in the Uraga woreda of Guji. Farmers in the region began cultivating coffee fairly recently. As a result, the trees are young and their quality and yields are high. Arsosala pays a 5-10% premium to incentivize high-quality cherry selection. Coffees are picked ripe and depulped the same day, then fermented overnight before being washed clean and dried on raised beds for 5-15 days, depending on the weather.
Cool, what does it taste like? You can expect a clean, bright, floral profile with notes of peach, lemon and jasmine.
