[Peru El Mirador, Geisha - Washed]

A supernova that has been ranked number one in the Peruvian COE for two consecutive years! A Geisha washed coffee with a refreshing green note aroma! When warm, it has a sweet and sour taste like green apple and a refreshing herbaceous feeling like basil or mint! As the temperature drops, the liquid becomes thicker and sweeter, and you can feel the sweet fruitiness of muscat or yellow peach! A Geisha washed coffee with a strong presence and body!

[About El Mirador]

El Mirador Farm is located in Cajamarca, 100km in a straight line from the coastal area in northwestern Peru. The farm, which was started by their parents in 2000, is now run by their sons, Jonisale and Helly, who have been harvesting Geisha for the first time in 2021, participating in COE for the first time in 2022, and winning COE#1 as early as 2023, and will also win COE#1 the following year in 2024. Peru's rising star has shown explosive growth in recent years! Jonisale and Helly are not only cultivating coffee, but are also leading the cultivation of high-quality specialty coffee, in order to shake up Peru's coffee cultivation, which has been organic and mass-produced until now. This is the hottest farm in Peru right now.

[Various Geisha varieties]

Ethiopia is a Geisha variety that originates from the Gesha variety in Gesha village. However, even if you say Geisha in one bite, Geisha is not actually a monolith. There are four main types of coffee called "Geisha".・Geisha beans that went to Central America, such as Panama, via Costa Rica are large and long-faced. This is the one that has the floral flavor and sweetness that is said to be typical of Geisha. ・Malawi Geisha Geisha that went to Malawi in 1956. It is a completely different variety from Panama Geisha. The beans are small and round. But it is a little long-faced. It has an Ethiopian taste. ・1931 Geisha/Gori Geisha 2011 Carefully selected from the native varieties in Geisha Village, (probably) a Geisha that is relatively close to the source. It has an Ethiopian taste, not the floral taste of Panama Geisha. ・Rust-resistant Geisha Geisha that went to various countries as a rust-resistant variety. The information is too confusing and the details are unknown. I think you have a general idea that there are many different types of Geisha. It is also fun to drink while wondering what kind of Geisha you are drinking right now is! Try drinking a lot of them and find the differences!

Geisha Washed from El Mirador, one of Peru's most famous vineyards, with a proven track record of winning the COE two years in a row! You can feel the Peruvian terroir, but also the gorgeousness of Geisha! If you like Geisha Washed, this is a must-try!
