Tasting Notes: Lime Juice, Magnolia, Lemongrass

Farm: El Diviso
Country: Colombia
Process: Just Washed
Variety: Geisha

It's Geisha! A beautiful geisha from Colombia! A pretty girl! When it's warm, it has a citrus feel like lime or grapefruit and a soft fragrance of white flowers reminiscent of magnolia or jasmine. Even when it cools down, it retains its elegance and citrus and floral nuances, and gradually gives off a herbal impression like lemongrass. The previously released Sidra from the same farm was also delicious, but this one is also the best. A delicious Geisha! [There are actually many different types of Geisha!] Geisha originates from the Gesha variety in Gesha Village, Ethiopia. However, Geisha is not actually a monolith. There are four main types of coffee called "Geisha". Geisha beans that traveled to Central America, such as Panama, via Costa Rica are large and long-faced This is the type that combines the floral flavor and sweetness that is said to be typical of Geisha Malawi Geisha Geisha that traveled to Malawi in 1956 A completely different variety from Panamanian Geisha The beans are small and round, but a little long-faced Ethiopian-like taste 1931 Geisha/Gori Geisha 2011 Carefully selected from the native varieties in Geisha village, this Geisha is (probably) fairly close to the source Not the floral flavor of Panamanian Geisha, but more of an Ethiopian taste Rust-resistant Geisha Geisha that traveled to various countries as a rust-resistant variety Information is so confusing that the details are unclear I think you now have a general idea that there are many different types of Geisha. It's also fun to drink while wondering what kind of Geisha you're drinking! Try lots of different ones and compare them to become a Geisha master! [El About El Diviso Farm: El Diviso is often featured in Acid. It became famous around the world after being used by the winner of the 2022 World Barista Championship. El Diviso is a farm located in the mountain range of Huila in southwestern Colombia. A scene from El Diviso Farm: Last summer, when I visited El Diviso Farm, there were several lots that tasted amazing. "What kind of washed is it?" "How many hours did you ferment it and how?" "What kind of yeast do you use?" Whatever I asked, the answer was always "Just Washed!" I'm sure they're doing something, but this Geisha really tastes like a normal washed coffee. I'm suspicious. That's why I'm going to write this Geisha as Just Washed. It's probably classical and traditional. That's what they say. That's "Just Washed!" -TASTE- Lime Juice Magnolia Lemongrass -Process- Just Washed !! -VARIETY- Geisha -ALTITUDE- 1,800m
